The CD Album entitled ‘Kaharian ng Dios’ (The Kingdom of God) and subtitled ‘Maria, Ina ng Mahihirap’ (Mary, Mother of the Poor) contains songs which aim not only to inspire but also to educate the listener regarding (1) the values and challenges of the Kingdom of God -- whose core is justice and liberation for the poor and oppressed -- and about (2) Mary’s role as Mother of the poor.
To reinforce learning on the messages of the songs, the CD goes with a free booklet which contains short catechetical notes about the Kingdom of God , Jesus and Mary, as well as inspirations -- evoked by significant persons like St. Hannibal -- that moved the composers to hum the melodies of the Spirit and sing the Good News.
Accordingly, the CD is meant as a guidepost for the seeker whose passion is to seek first the Kingdom of God and its justice/righteousness.
And like any inspired music which can move humanity’s innermost being, the CD aims to touch and move every heart to promote programs that empower people -- the poor especially -- to work for integral human and cosmic development. This is what the Kingdom of God is all about. This ought to be the passion of every seeker of Jesus, of Mary and of the Kingdom.
The CD is therefore a Gospel in songs! And buying the CD is itself a Kingdom work!

Fernando Suarez’ Mary, Mother of the Poor Foundation whose implementing programs are carried out by the St. Hannibal Empowerment Center (SHEC), which is headed by the main composer of the songs, Fr. Dexter Prudenciano, RCJ.
